Whether you are an FPA annual conference veteran or a new attendee, you'll benefit from the wide array of educational opportunities at FPA Denver 2010.

Pre-conference Workshops

Full- and half-day pre-conference workshops will be held on Saturday, October 9, at the Colorado Convention Center. These workshops are not a function of the official FPA Denver 2010 program and must be registered and paid for separately. Fees include all educational materials, handouts and breaks. Pre-conference workshops are subject to change without notice. To register, check the appropriate boxes on the online registration form.

General Sessions

This year's general session speakers promise to give an intriguing "insiders" look into the minds of your clients, the happenings in Washington and the global landscape. Find out more about this year's general sessions and their respective speakers: Dan Ariely, James B. Duke Professor of Behavioral Economics at Duke University and author of forthcoming book Living Irrationally (June 2010); David Wessel, Bureau Chief, The Wall Street Journal and author of In Fed We Trust: Ben Bernancke's War on the Great Panic (August 2009); Ian Bremmer, President Eurasia Group, and expert on global politics and risk management and author of The End of the Free Market: Who Wins the War Between the States and Corporations (May 2010).

Super Sessions

Super Sessions bring together top-notch speakers and current and cutting-edge content. This year's program provides attendee's with new tools and thinking from industry expert Mitch Anthony to create balance between work and life while also achieving competitive compensation. Investment News Editor, Jim Pavia, and public relations expert, Jennifer Connelly, will help planner's identify the best ways to get your message heard by the right people. Conference sponsors will bring even more opportunities to grow your knowledge base through educational sessions.

Professional Development Pavilion

The FPA Professional Development Pavilion located on the exhibit hall floor provides additional education and networking opportunities to all attendees. Included in the Pavilion:

FPA Twitter Live, FPA Research spotlights, career and professional development and social media are just the beginning of the topics you'll find in the Pavilion.
