Competency Model

FPA's knowledge and learning experiences are designed to meet the needs of all career stages within the financial planning profession. As you grow in experience and expertise you need knowledge, talents, skills and strengths to gain success.

To help you identify the best learning opportunity for you, we have created the FPA Lifelong Learning Competency Model. This model serves as a resource to help you identify the intended scope and learning level of a particular educational program. Each session is tagged with the career stage and competency with which the session most closely aligns from an educational perspective.
