Exhibitor Service Manual

The manual provides you with important dates, times and locations and specific meeting and exhibit floor details. Please read all information carefully and pay special attention to all forms that need to be completed, along with filing deadlines.

Confirmed exhibitors are also mailed an Exhibitor Service Manual CD. Champion Exposition Services is back as the official service contractor for FPA Boston 2008. FPA and Champion work as a team to provide assistance in planning your exhibit as well as on-site support.

Exhibitor Registration & Housing  

Registration & Exhibitor Badges

  • All attendees, including exhibitor personnel, will be required to wear a badge throughout the entire conference.
  • Fill out an Exhibitor Staff Registration Form or an Extra Exhibitor Staff Registration Form to ensure all exhibit staff receive a badge.
  • Badges will not be issued unless your exhibit booth fees are paid in full.
  • Two registrations are included in the purchase of each 10'x10' space. Please use one form per individual.
  • Additional exhibit staff may register for a fee of $675 each. Payment must accompany the form or a badge will not be issued.
  • Only those with issued name badges will have access to the exhibit hall.
  • Your booth must be staffed during all hours the show is open.

Please Note: Exhibitor registrations, substitutions and cancellations are due by September 19, 2008. All changes after this date must be made on-site in Boston at the Exhibitor Registration Desk beginning October 3, 2008.

State Insurance CE

Please be sure to indicate on the registration form whether you will be applying for state insurance continuing education credits while attending the conference. The CE Information Desk will be located at the FPA Registration Desk to answer your questions.

Closing Night Celebration

The FPA Boston 2008 closing night party on Monday, October 6, from 6:30–11 p.m., will be an unforgettable night, celebrated at Jillian's of Boston. Tickets are required and admission to the celebration is included in your registration. Please indicate on your registration form if you plan to attend.

Temporary Set-up Badges

If you are using a third-party contractor to assemble your booth, please have them report to the Exhibitor Registration Desk to obtain a temporary badge. To enforce security in the hall, please be sure your contractor is aware that they may be required to sign for and release any items removed from the hall by show security.

Housing Information

  • Housing will be handled by the FPA Boston 2008 Housing Desk. For best availability and immediate confirmation, make your reservation online. All rates are per room and subject to a 12.45% tax (subject to change).
  • A credit card guarantee will be required to secure your reservation. Checks are only accepted with a mailed reservation form, in the amount of one night's stay plus tax as a deposit, payable to Travel Technology Group.
  • A confirmation will be sent to you by the Housing Bureau; you will not receive a confirmation from the hotel.
  • To take advantage of the special FPA Boston 2008 rates, please book your reservation by September 4, 2008.
  • Reservations may be changed or cancelled online or through the FPA Boston Housing Desk until September 9, 2008. Cancellations must be received by the hotels at least 72 hours prior to arrival or will incur cancellation penalties.
  • Please do not contact the hotels directly until after September 10, 2008.

Attendee Mailing List for Exhibitors

All exhibitors are eligible to receive an attendee mailing list one month prior and one month post-conference. If you have not returned your Mailing Agreement (PDF | 50KB), please complete and return to Peg Coniglio by September 2 to receive the mailing list. This list will not include e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
