David Walker, a keynote speaker for FPA Anaheim 2009, was featured in a documentary titled "I.O.U.S.A," to be televised on CNN January 10 at 2 p.m. EST and on January 11 at 3 p.m. EST.
According to Walker, former U.S. Comptroller General and one of the collaborators for the documentary, the film "tells the story of America's large and growing fiscal challenge, how the richest country in the world came to be in the position we are in today, and what could happen to us if we don't do something about it soon. It covers our nation's four key deficits: budget, savings, balance of payments/trade, and worst of all, our leadership deficit."
Additionally, in recent weeks, Walker has been featured on various other major network newscasts, including ABC World News Tonight and NPR: Morning Edition. For more information on Walker, view his 60-minute profile FPA's YouTube channel.
Be sure to check out Walker — along with other FPA Anaheim 2009 keynote speakers Bert Jacobs and Marci Rossell — at the FPA Annual Conference, to be held October 10–13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
